yes hte closest pond it 10 miles away at least prob more then that

I really wish folks could understand that we cannot release fish even into private waters. I know I can't stop you but but please think of what impacts releasing fish has. I know many will think I'm overreacting but just about all ponds flood and that water will go downhill/downstream. This practice is playing with fire and if we don't respect this you will soon have laws like I have in Illinois. I can't move any native fish from any state that touches a great lake within, into or out of Illinois. This is due to disease and the laws will spread as long as keep our heads in the sand.

Sorry to be such a negative guy with this kind of stuff but Flathead young live in very specific places that would blow your mind if you knew. They don't live in the same places as adults but I just can't help people that release fish since it does such a disservice to our fellow hobby members. It's not what you use to catch baby flathead it's where and minnow traps are not the way. You can catch them with your hands if you look in the right places.

where can you catch them with ur hands at? and there is already flathead in hte pond i turn them loose in

Flathead don't live in ponds naturally. Adults live in larger rivers only. Are you sure you're talking about flatheads?

yes because ppl all the time catch larege fish and turn them loose in this pond there r sum 20 pounders in here ive seen all sizes come out of here and i ask again where can you catch them with ur hands and where can you find them at?
