Dude, I think you should give what telost said some consideration. Releasing any captive fish into water with any connection with a wild stream should be a no go situation. Disease is the real problem, even if there are already flat heads there if your fish picked up a virus from the captive environment then it could be spread to the wild population. We are already seeing this in several places around the country, as responsible aquarium keepers it's up to us to prevent this from occurring. We as aquarium keepers are in a bad situation, almost every thing that goes wrong is blamed on us no matter what the real source of the problem was. Like the snake heads that were released from an Asian fish market it was aquarium keepers who took the hit. We must be above reproach when it comes to these things. If your fish is too big and no one else wants it, kill it. Release into the wild or into waters connected to the wild is never an alternative. Every time someone releases a fish or dumps their old aquarium into a stream or wild pond it reflects on us all. I keep and breed fish in ponds made from above ground swimming pools. I use only approved methods of disposing of the water. Please consider this the only way to get rid of an unwanted fish, give it away to some else who is responsible or keep it in an above ground or koi type pond that is not connected in anyway to surface waters or simply kill it. anything else will only help bring about the complete outlawing of fish keeping.

i use water from where i catch hte fish from so disease is highly unlikely and also it it a manmade pond with pretty much just crap fish in it...

If the pond has a drain that goes into a natural stream or any other natural drainage then it is not isolated from the natural waters and is suspect.

Micheal the guy is a habitual lier and there really is no point to mentioning facts, truth or conducting a reasonable response.. He is oblivious to anything that is said.. He chooses to to be stupid and will totally ignore all aspects of information you present and will continue to post totally stupid and ridiculously uninformed posts until you are blue in the face...

Good try though....

YOOO!! chill will man

I have to ask...

What base language or local dialect is this? Really I'm curious.. also what does it mean translated to English proper? what exactly does "chill will man"? prefixed by yelling "YOOO" mean...

Very interesting and slightly confounding.....
Really can not say I've ever seen this unusual combination of words / vocalizations yet in any human culture...
