I’ve kept a t. Murius before, pretty uninteresting fish IMO.
2-3 T schoudenti would be a cool tank.
Too bad colomesus psittacus isn’t in the hobby- or is rare

Why not a fahaka? I got two and they are amazingly social. But your 75 wont last that long for a fahaka. Depending on the footprint it couls work out with some sprcies of parauchenoglanis. I used to have a parauchenoglanis puntctatus. They grow quite fast to 25-30cm then it almost stops growing. Mine grew from 4cm to 30 in 1.5 year then it grew maybe 5cm over the next year before i sold it.

Haha thats not what experience with this species. It was really a mellow cat in my tank. Did only mind its own business and didnt bother any other fish at all. Once i got it on pellets it was hooked and ate only pellets nothing else. Same goes with my auchenoglanis wittei i got now. It eats only pellets and some herring now and then.

I’d like a fat goofy fish that doesn’t swim too much.
Reckonizes me, beg for food.
Doesn’t hate ppl
Can live alone or with small fast fish like guppy’s that I won’t mind losing a few here or there.
Can be used for culling fry fromy large cichlid pairs.
Looks like something from star wars
Can live at least a few yrs in a 75.
I have 4 6’ tanks but at present, so there is a long term solution available if necessary

Based on these symptoms, I'd prescribe Cephalosilurus apurensis.

We put away 1.5' mullet yesterday - 4 apurensis

Our four Cephalosilurus apurensis had a mighty good meal yesterday worth filming. I had bought three from very different vendors and times hoping to maybe score a nigricaudus but alas they are all apurensis. It looks like we (almost) never get nigricaudus in the trade because it only inhabits...

Wyckii would be good too but needs more space, which you don't have even with 6' tank.
