Why waste a good bowl? I keep all my red tails in red dixie cups. they have to be red though, fish don't do well in the blue ones for some reason.

The last rtc I got was only 1.25" when I got him. I should have just kept him in this cool double shotglass I have. :) You know the rule they will only grow to the size of the environment you provide. Put a constant drip system on there, and a 100 gal sump plumbed in with some air hose. :) feed him one fish flake per week. There you have it. Mini RTC for life!!!

Unfortunately no catfish at the moment :(. I downsized on all my tanks when I moved and haven't had time for the hobby much lately. Been spending money on home improvements lol. That beast Lima was donated along with the Fasciatum to the Dallas World Aquarium and was placed in their 200,000 gallon Amazon exhibit. I know the Fasciatum is still there and is pushing 4ft now because I go check on them regularly. As for the Lima though it is either hiding in a section of the tank I can't see (very possible) or became a snack for one of the larger fish.

Congrats on your new Vulture, pretty cool cat and one I've never personally kept. Would really like to get my hands on one of the amazing Lince Cats that are available right now but no tanks setup big enough and don't have a spare $600 haha. As soon as I finish up the rest of the major projects around the house I'm hoping to make a big return and setup a 750 gallon but that will probably be a year out

Hmmm, good luck with all that! :) I have to add a Pterodoras granulosus to my list as of 3 hours ago lol. What a nice looking doradid. The vulture is an amazing catfish! You should def get one if you get a chance. Lince would be nice, but I'm not sure I would spend that much on a single fish lol. Unless somehow I could legally get a mekong for that price lol.

Looks like Cliff will get his flathead :)

I can't wait!!!! :) I will be doing up a special thread to track the progress of that fish! It is very undocumented in aquariums. lol, hopefully he'll be a real monster some day. Kevin rocks!!!! I posted year after year in the buy and sell section about getting this fish and never really got anything. Some people contacted me about some, but it never panned out. :) Lol, I was about to wait til I went home to north carolina and make sure that it coincided with the hatching of flatheads and try to get some fry myself. lol.

This dude is already pellet trained as well, takes some of the worry away. I will pm you when I hear back on shipping cost. Carry on cat mfk'ers!

This is what both me and my flathead will look like when we are ready to die! lol. ;)
