I am currently trying to decide stocking for 150 gal high 48x24x30 prob gonna be an oscar and a sec or two not sure yet but my son and I are really into catfish. Anyone have experience with jaguar cats and giant bumblebee cats ? I also like the bolt and juruense cats but not sure my tank will be big enough

I have an Asian Bumblebee and he is awesome but territorial as all heck. I would recommend an Irwini as well if you can upgrade in the future but otherwise you could try Sorubim elongatus.

Can u post some pics of ur bumblebee. How big is he ? What else do u keep with him
Will def check out what u mentioned

I'd do a megalodoras uranoscopus.
Giant ralph.... very cool he is also on my short list. Do you think my tank would be too small for him though ? Also do u think I can keep another cat with him and some large cichlids ?

Setting up 150 gal and like the jaguar cat but from what I have read on the net its a little confusing all the info is contradicting depending on what site u read from. Anyone have a jag please share any info u can and if possible pics

I don't have one but have learned a good bit from others that do. Here is as far as my knowledge goes:

max size: 10" for most, 12" for large ones.
tank size: 75 gallons, it will be very happy in a 150 :)
Ideal temp: 76-82 F
ph: somewhat adjustable but ideally 5.8-6.8, consider 7.5 absolute MAX
Temperament: peaceful with things it can't fit in its mouth.
How many: ideally a group of 3 but one is fine as well.

Thanks guys... possible in the oscar and a bumblebee...only thing holding me back with the jag is I read they aren't as hardy
