divemaster & lunker what would be your favirote not taking into account you current set up just in general.... I prob go with the gulper...reminds me of my bulldog that passed away

Hasn't been mentioned yet, I'd look into the Burmese Upside-down Catfish. I have one over 8" long as a tank mate of a larger Oscar. Make excellent additions, best picture I snagged from Google.

I can give you a few tied for my favorite: irwini, channel, achara, and vulture are all up there.
Bolt catfish also know as jello band catfish, aguarunichthys torosus if I'm not mistaken.

If you mean clarias batrachus, they are highly predatory towards anything they can fit in their mouths.
Not to mention they are highly illegal in every state in the US.
Ya they are aggressive only at the feeding time... I kept 2 clarius batrachus wit goldies before 2yrs without any problem...

Yup... that is the one. I was about to get one last week, but decided not to. Maybe next time...
I like the bolt and vulture too. Prob with cats is soo many cool ones to pick. My son and I look at so many giant bumble bee pics and vids that Its gonna be hard to not get hom one
