catfish ID?

That was my thought, it just looked kind of green to me, it was bothering me earlier when I saw the this thread. I think its a giraffe, I recognized the vacuum cleaner mouth. Does your cat sift through the gravel for food dmopar?

ok got some non-stressed pics, and i dont know if it is sifting for food, ive had it only one day. to me it doesnt look like the dwarf giraffe listed on planet catfish.

Parauchenoglanis still exists and has 9 valid species - I believe that this fish is a Parauchenoglanis sp. - difficult to tell which though to be honest unless you know the collection locale.

I don't think that it is either Anaspidoglanis macrostoma or guttatus.

either way care for it is the same - small meaty foods - such as bloodworm, small catfish pellets, small bits of fish etc .. ideally they do like a sandy substrate as may rub away their barbels on gravel.
