wow those are some pretty neat looking kind of catfish =] i was kinda looking for one but ended up not being the right species so i sold it away to someone looking for the current species i had...it was about 3 years ago when I had it

They definately have a different attitude than an rtc mine is real picky about everything he acts like hes afraid of everything in the tank and wont eat for two weeks and then he eats all the fish in my tank. sometimes he eats five days a week. sometimes he's skittish sometimes he friendly. I can't wait until my rtc and my rtcxtsn get up to size. at leaste that way i will have two huge friendly catfish to me at leaste. and MCL.

Go post a thread inviting to start a club with those specific fish and see who jumps aboard.

i'd say go for MCK!! Monster Catfish League =] size mostly any catfish that can attain a size of 2' or higher in the wild is already considered a monster

oh i see...so have you even seen your wallago's teeth before? i saw a pic on google images and saw one with like hecka teeth in the mouth....like way too much....i think it looks more scary than a piranha...but piranhas arent really much of all teeth of a fish but these attu's are like needles inside of the mouth lol...man i hate if i got caught when doing a water change or handfeeding....man i would have lots of cuts and punctures

I may not know what a catfish looks like, but Monster Catfish League sounds way cooler IMO!!

I kind of say a wallago attu's teeth are a like like astro turf tons of them but they are small and @ 2' you can see them eventhough they are small these guys can pull in some large prey. I think the biggest thing with them and being able to eat large prey is how large they can open their mouth and basically swallow fish whole. When i feed mine a 10" smelt he will just basically swallow it whole. one day I will get a video of feeding him. I just need the cord to hook up the video camera up to the computer and i will do that.
