That would have been awesome to catch on tape... Where you hand feeding him at the time?KenyanSandBoa;1433871; said:This is a great thread...some fantastic stories out there.
My wyckii is the buldozer in my tank. Here's the story:
I have two large peices of driftwood in my large tank. One is a 3.5 foot "centerpiece" and the other is a large, hollowed out piece of a tree that's about 2-2.5 feet. I had them setup off to one side of the tank to allow for some open swimming area for my Jardini, but my wyckii decided he didn't want to have any neighbors so he moved the hollowed out tree all the way to the other side of the tank.
Now here's my favorite part...I moved it back to see if he would move it agian...sure enough he did, but this time he dug out all of the gravel, pushed the log into the hole and filled it back in around the sides so the only part showing were the ends (so he can get in and out) and a hole where a branch used to be (which is now his "get the hell out of my area" biting hole).
God I love this wyckii.![]()
He actually tried to get it on tape the next feeding to see if the RTC would do it again... but it didn't. Yeah Hand feeding was the reason for the whole thing, His RTC's are great and freakin huge... not to mention eat like pigs LOL.doubledragon;1445444; said:That would have been awesome to catch on tape... doubledragon;1445445; said:Wow, that's really cool. I take it you left it like that after he put so much effort into it the second time. Did you see him doing it, or was it after light's out??? That would have been really fun to watch!
