The first one was roughly 8 years old. This is the first one that died of "natural-looking" causes in my hands. It hadn't had the best life before me and in my hands, so I assume in better care it should have lived longer.

Others have been either adopted out or I lost them due to my errors.

Lastly, they are genetic refuse, so I don't believe there is any reasonable lifespan range that exists. Mutations don't occur in singles but in bunches and if something deviates from the norm in their exterior, there are most surely some other internal deviations, which cannot be fathomed to be beneficial to their health and longevity but are always detrimental.

From their parents lifespans, 20 years in average care captivity might be expected, up to 50 years in ideal care. Yet, this is largely unsubstantiated as I know of only one or a few examples. This is not statistically justifiable.
