catholics hate fish bowls!!!

a bit sensitive? I thought this was a discussion board? To disagree with someone is to not "Bash them", or "disrespect" them. Also, too say the Italian government is totally independent of the catholics is not true.

In a related topic, what about feeder goldfish? should i be making my reservation in the pits of hell now or later. :confused:
 
Religous issues are always a bad topic. Why is it always a religous person that gets offended and gets rude? What happened to forgive and let live?
 
History of the American Revolution. All we do for 3 hours is watch those history tapes with paintings on the screen of whoever while the narrator does his thing in a monotone voice, with the lights off in the room. Then I have American Lit, where all we're going over is Christian Gospels of the Puritans, and the professor is like a preacher. I feel like a Jew in church.

a) I am with Guppy on this one. It's a clear advantage to have the skills to read the article before flaming the church

b) Those bowls have long been outlawed in other Western countries, e.g. Germany.

c) I completely agree with the ban. Getting a pet is accepting responsibility. Putting a fish in bowl or, for that matter, a tank that's too small for the fish, displays ignorance and neglect. Even a fish should have the right for a minimum living standard. If people are so inconsiderate (which is the least offensive word that comes to my mind), then legislature has to act.

d) I disagree that Monsterfishkeepers house their pets comparatively bad. Some do, and there have been disagreements on this board in previous threads, but most of us respect the fish and accept the monstrous responsibility that comes with our monstrous hobby.

I agree with the ban also. Not only to people try shoving goldfish in these things but other fish two, some goldfish out grow the bowl then what? What happens for the goldfish that are to big for the bowl in the first place?? Shove the poor thing in the bowl that it cant even fit in?? Thats mean. Each fish deserves a home that it can actually swim around in.

Disagreeing with the law, or even just finding it amusing is one thing, tieing it to the catholics is something else, And I did not say that the Italion government is totally independent of catholics, they are a democracy, most of the voters are catholic. I also don't say that the USA is totally independent of protestants or baptists, they hold a pretty large voting group. They are pretty independent of Cran Darans though, there are only about 13,000 of us world wide last I heard.
 
WOW,I never thought I'd see the day were the catholic church did something right,as for that to see any church do something right :WHOA: I hate fish bowls too,thier only good for one thing and thats plants,not fish.I hate to see even bettas in those little tiny bowls let alone goldfish.I cant believe that they still make these death traps :swear:
 
Turtle death pond = Goldfish death bowl.....
