How are you going to heat a greenhouse to 80 degrees in the middle of winter? That is going to require an enormous amount of energy. Glass is one of the worst insulators there is.
I am using a type of isulated plastic specifically for greenhouses in temperate climates, such as my own. It is build to keep the heat in and cold out. Plus I will be running a space heater or I may splurge and buy a greenhouse heater (1/2-1hp) to keep it nice and warm.

Even those type of greenhouses require a lot to heat them at night. You are looking at a huge undertaking if you plan on heating it year round. It will require more than a space heater. I own a oil heating company and have several greenhouses as customers. They use a huge amount of oil, even the modern ones with the night shields. I'm in PA so I know the type of climate you are dealing with.
I did a bit of math to estimate your heating cost using electricity. These numbers are based off of a .09kwh utilities cost. Also using estimates based on a normal room not a greenhouse so cost will actually be higher as more energy will be required. Using just 3000watts to heat the greenhouse it will cost about 203.47 a month during the cold months...but like I said this most likely a very low estimate as I bet it takes a lot more than 3000 watts to maintain temps in the winter.
Anyway I know someone who can get u Mekong giant catfish if your interested
I will figure it out. I may just turn it into a shed instead, insulate the crap out of it, and run either a wood stove or kerosene furnace (I already have a new one we aren't using) to heat it. Sure it may be a little pricey that way, but isn't that all part of the hobby. Dedication is the name of the game.
Hmm I like the shed idea, but the aviary/greenhouse also sounds super cool if you do it right... I'm guessing you don't have a basement to work with or can't use that? Might be a bit easier to heat and cheaper to build. But whatever way you decide to make it pix are a must!!
