Cats for the pond, need ideas!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I was thinking goonch, but they are super aggressive and I want this to be a catfish community. Plus they need cooler water, so I have been told.

I like the idea keep us posted on your progress and take a lot of pics

A Wels would be awesome, one of my favorite cats... Although after so many years I don't think you want to get in the pond with it if you have to...

That wasn't even big one like they got down in Spain. They get huge in warm water.

Looks like you already have loads of cats planned already. Need there be more species? I"m a bigger fan of sticking to a few species and trying to form communities of them (if possible), rather than just trying to get one of as many different species as you can.

I think the fish like it better this way too.
(the exception though with me is species that can hybridize)

I think I may just stick with a few RTCs as they are my favs a couple paroons, ID sharks, TSN, TSNxRTC, Piraiba, and that would be it for the cat's. I am thinking some silver aros, Pbass (Maybe if they are big enough), a couple Gator gar, ect.
