Caught a few lil guys

I'd imagine if they were quarantined the parasite would die off sooner or later. Might just want to try some anti-parasite meds and see how that works out.
 
The black spot trematode is not harmful to fish except in extreme cases, and cannot be transferred fish-to-fish. It has a complicated life cycle that requires other hosts (usually fish-eating birds) to complete.
 
The way i got rid of it was put the fish with the disease in a tank with some warm water and a little bit of aquarium salt good luck and nice fish..
