Caught My 1st Bowfin Today.......

bowfin go up north as far as ontario? realy? i thought they were more of a southern species and i didnt hear about them untill recently. are they native to nj b/c i dont think ive ever seen them in the fish and wildlife magazine

Hey bro idk how bad you want one or are willing to travel but I went all the way to melboure to lake washington b/c I heard it was a hot spot but I fished off the dock and didn't get anything but if you have a boat maybe u'll have better luck but heres a couple of lakes that are a lil closer Lake Arbuckle, Lake Marion, Lake Kissimmee, Lake Sheen, St. Johns River,Lake Jesup... ha thanks though, and I will definitely take a trip to have somebody to fish with. We should organize a collecting/fishing trip for central fl.!
