Wanting to end a conversation yet asking a question :duh: :duh: :duh:

This statement by you shows your true feelings regarding the natural environment, very sad:(

OK. you right. I can't end a conversation like that. So please quote any sentences I have typed that leads you to believe I don't care about the "natural environment"?

:duh: are you color blind? Can you not see the color red? Already been quoted, hi-lited and enlarged.

When you make a statement saying that you don't care that a certain species becomes extinct in the wild, a conclusion can be made. Or for you is it just certain species becoming extinct? Where do you draw the line?

My view is that even if Aros are gone from the wild but still bred in captivity then the species is still preserved.

6 mounths of house arrest sux and he has to do 200 community hours plus the 7000 something fine! :shakehead:shakehead:shakehead:shakehead

Are you serious? Considering that the fine could have been much greater and there was no jail time, this person got off easy!

My comment was in response to your statement that "preserving a species means doing it with wild populations not in peoples aquariums". I was referring to whether continued farm breeding of a species regardless of whether they are extinct in the wild or not is considered "preserving a species". It said nothing of whether I cared if the wild population was gone or not.

I really don't think this is going anywhere. You win. I am an asian-arowana-in-the-wild hater. I only like farm bred arowanas. All wild arowanas should be fished to extinction so I will have to pay more for the farm bred ones. Hell, here I come.
