I do have a couple small plants in my big tank now just to help with Bio filtration mainly but it has a sump and a drip system as well. I am guessing with this setup plants won't really thrive especially since I don't use ferts or CO2 either. Hadn't really thought about it until now.

It'll create a certain current in that size tank, but you can diffuse that by widening the holes in the spray bar, for exampleCan I run this on a 90 gallon cichlids tank?
