ive made some super cool caves out of great stuff, only problem ive ran into is its way bouyantRadleyMiller;523313; said:you could play with Great Stuff foam. They have double and triple expanding types and a new type that stays soft after you are done with it. I don't know what you could use it for, I know they use it for keeping rocks in pond waterfalls secure and I use it to build terraiums.

Where do you get a large enough piece of styrofoam to carve something like that? I make wood carvings and plaster sculptures all the time, but never thought of styrofoam. I have use floral foam, but again I don't know where you would find a large enough piece to make a cave from.
