CB Congis graduate to the big tank

Well the time came for my two little CB congicus to move to the big tank. I was a little nervous as there would be a substantial size difference between and their tank mates (several from 18 to 22")

I figured I would stagger their placement with one Sunday and the second a week later provided no issues with the introduction of the first (worst case one expensive feeder not two..)

No issues with the first as everyone seemed to ignore him. This morning before work I was force to accelerate the move of the second due to a heater problem on the grow out.

Well just got home from work and the good news is that I still have two little congicus I will post some updates occasionally as they grow up

Yay! glad they moved in safe and sound. The little Congis look great. Hope they do well
Love the pic of the bigger bichir (a Lap or PBB?) next to one of them. Really can tell the size difference. Meanwhile, one day the Congis might outgrow them. :]

Thx, I am hoping to get a picture of them next to either my big weeksii or my hog endi. That will show two things, one the size diff and two how foolish I may be for introducing them this soon.

Thx, one of the LFS a few years back brought in a shipment of fish from Africa, most were cichlids but they had a batch of laps. I was fortunate to get this one. It was 7" at time of pick up. Now it is 18/19". Contrast is much better than my "pure" green monster
