so i didnt put this in my thread.
i have a rubbermaid that is 30 long 20 wide 18 high 50 gallon with 2 oscars in it and some other fish biggest is 3 inche tiger oscar so now i have some updates. for the 29 i just got new fish ive always wanted and a deal on them to. 3 kribs for 10 buxs and 4 YLs aka yellow labs, 4 for 10 buxs well one is missing an eye and another has clamped fins but besides that i got rid of my pair of convicts and kno in the 10 i gots 8 guppys 6 female and 2 male edlers ( fish store thinks there regaler male gups but i kno better ) and 2 type of otos or sumtin cant think of the names. so now i think im doing better. ad my kribs are swimming togther like there schooling and its AWSOME...

sad update is my 20 gallon broke today so im out of a 20 gallon but good news is that im getting a 55 soon YAY so yup great updates..!!..

I think you should restrain yourself from buying more fish, CB. It doesn't hurt to ask us first and finalize your decisions before you consider getting more fish. We will at least appreciate if you actually control yourself from buying more fish and learn to be a little more decisive about your options.

And no, I wouldn't advise placing a red devil in your 55g. How about a planted community tank? You would never get bored mixing the kribs with some feisty danios and medium sized barbs such as arulius.

Hope you cleaned that mess up very well, considering how your living with your aunt and all. Hope the 55 has a stand, actually, you should just pass on the 55 until things in your life settle. They are a BBBBB to move. Think the fish you are getting now (kribs and such) are much more appropriate to your situation. I'd dump the devils and the oscar and even the tex and focus on your kribs, labs and guppies. Sounds like you got a deal on them. There will always be plenty of devils and oscars in the future.

i have fears of tank breaking kno after what happen last nite with the 20 so now im converting to rubbermaids only tank ill have up is the 29 as a hospital/nersury/timeout tank.. i ahve a 50 gallon rubbermaid that has 3 kribs and 4 yellow labs in it right now.. ist 30 long 20 wide 19 high. 50 gallons. so now my next one is gunna be 30 long 30 wide 20 high 70 gallon for my 2 lil oscars then 2 thats 30 long by 25 wide by 20 high 65 gallon rubbermaid for 2 of my red devil hybrids then one thats 30 long by 20 wide by 20 wide 50 gallon for my texas female....

so how does all this sound to u??
 
a pix of what my tanks use to look like..... crappy i kno. now with the rubbermaid and 29 ( the 10 is getting takin down for a rubbermaid ) so now im gunna start useing rubermaids YAY but i hate haveing fears of tanks breaking GERRRR

what's the point of keeping fish if you're gonna keep them in plastic tubs?
 
rubbermaids are normally used for growouts, the bigger rubbermaids, never seen them used as normal homes, not very aesthetically pleasing
