Sorry man, that sucks! An ex of mine dropped her phone down an ice fishing hole and it still worked. Those Nokia 5165's were tough.

I learned not to put the phone in your hoodie front pocket drunk and go to the bathroom... It fell in...I was lucky and had not started yet... it did not work again...

I did that once, flipped myself in a kayak.. who kayaks with a phone anyway? The battery was shot, but once that was replaced the phone was fine. Your contacts will be saved if you stored them on the SIM card and not the phone itself.

Never really got around to buying a the additional memory card. And alltel doesn't use sim cards.

I dropped my old samsung in the toilet once.......Tried a whole bunch of the tricks and it never worked.........So me and my buddies tied a whole bunch of bottle rockets to it and watched the pretty colors........
