goldfish can be more prone to disease at higher temps, also they could end up big enough to eat small fish, but fancies are most likely too slow but will also push everything out of the way for food so it is touch and go really

Gouramis are all 5 inches and under. So I think I could fit 10 angels in there.

I would only bring the total number of angels up to 10 if I was not adding any other fish, and the gouramis were going to stay that size. I think the water changes would become hard to keep up on with anything else added after that.

Tank is lightly planted. Just low light plants mostly attached to pieces of driftwood.

Gouramis are as big as they are going to get. Agreed I would only up the angel fish if that was all I would be adding. Might do that as I haven't been able to find anything else for a good price locally.
