I did stuff like that when I was 12 maybe 13, now Im a grown up though, I see life differently. Without getting into it all ya know.
I'm not much for catching animals and forcing them into a situation where they would fight, but I love your musical choice for this event, lol.

look guys, they were both found in his basement where they could have easily encountered one another and the same thing could have happened. I dont see this as any different from feeding crickets to your pet tarantula or other inverts. Most people just swat them or spray them with poisons. The OP gave the centipede a good meal and released it. Pretty good deal if you ask me.
