Just don't use a heater...

I keep them on the bottom rack in my fishroom, which gets down to the mid-60s in winter. Lots of spawning when it warms up to the low-70s...

Thanks for the idea of Gymno's, I'm just crious about the cool down period some of them require? is this difficult to do?

They're VERY similar. Some would say that the stock on both sides of the Atlantic has both species in it (under both names)...

My problem is being from the UK they even more so rarely available. I have a resource which has one Nano, and is looking to get more, so we'll see. Thanks though everyone

Okay, so I will definately be getting something of the Cryptoheros Genera, what species I am not sure of. All the ones metioned very hard to find and i've tried everywhere I can think of already.

I know somewhere which has some panamensis 'RED'. Anyone have experience with these guys? I am a little unsure of what they look like as google seems to bring up very little. Anybody help?
