Have you tested your water?
Yes
If I did not test my water...
...I recognize that I will likely be asked to do a test, and that water tests are critical for solving freshwater health problems.
Do you do water changes?
Yes
If I do not change my water...
...I recognize that I will likely be recommended to do a water change, and water changes are critical for preventing future freshwater health problems.
Lost 5 of my 9. All missing fins or severely damaged fins. Pulled the first dead one a couple days ago. 4 today. This is one of the survivors.

I've also had the same exact thing happen to a lone female musaicus I had a while back; kanamycin seemed to help a little bit, but the fish eventually died. I'm really sorry for your loss. I hope the remaining four you have left pull through and recover.

This is a rheophillic species, coming from highly oxygenated briskly moving waters.
If it were me, its tank would have a strong power head pushing a current along the length of the back wall of the tank, and if the pump had a venturi option, I'd make use of it.
The front of the tank providing a slow current area.
And although they are said to come from various water parameters, the area of S. America they come from has basically very soft, seasonally low pH water.
Again, if it were me, I'd dilute tap water, with either RO/DI or rain water.
Your pH suggests high mineral content, hard water which may be counter to their needs.
The shots below are in long tank with strong current along the back wall, and venturi valve producing lots of turbulence, and in turn high oxygen levels

I run air stones or sponges in the tanks to increase O2 saturation. The 8 tanks use a sump. I run an irrigation drip water change in the fish room.
I have a small power head I think.
