Chana diplogramma or micropeletes

Hey guys

I have a channa that was sold to me in april at about 5". Its now about a solid 13", but the problem is that the store is a chain pet store and they mess up species names a lot. I was just wondering if by this time i can tell what kind i have?

what was the name of the pet store you bought him at??? Do you frequently see channa species often at the local pet stores

The Origional poster was also in Montreal and they now have a ban on channa in Quebec so even if the shops had them they don't now!
