So could I get a arowana, ray, simease tiger fish, fire eel, birchir, snakehead, 2xLeiarius Marmoratas and maby a couple of oscar's? Would I be okey buying whitebait instead of live fish? Also could I get some of these fish in pairs or would I be overcrowded?

How much is heavy? Also what lighting would you reccomend? I like the eheim professional 3 filter but it is $450 (£250).
At my lfs they have a large display tank with a black ray with white spots, pacu, greens severum (i think), silver arowana, RTC and this other long silver fish (sorry forgot name) and when I asked they only do 10% water change a week. Also do you think just a large external filter will be okey?
Many LFSes have a frequent tendency to not take care of their fish, obviously yours falls under that category. So sad...
4-6 Aquaclear 500s should do the job. They won't keep the gravel/sand clean though; you'll have to do that yourself with the waterchanges. A 20g sump with a big wet/dry filter could do the job too.

Yeah when I gravel clean the outlet hose will go straight into the bathroom sink so keeping the gravel clean hopefully shouldnt be a problem. Also why do I need 4-6 of those filters as the eheim pro 3 is for tanks up to 1300L and mine is under that?
