i have two strip air stones, a cascage 1500 filter... ill send danh a pm

thanks you never answered me what kind of pbass is that in your avatar?

it is a monoculus sp rio negro..

sp san frinasco, sp cearas and sp 24k gold are all super monos which i think are now known as sp kilberi

nice thanks.... mine wont ever look like that but thank you lol

added prime to the tank, each day put one can full in. The only fish that seems to have any markings is my biggest one and rest all seem to be fine? but none of the other fish seem to be effected by the nitrate or amonia? but fish still maintain apetite and all is well thus far. Only other question is why is the tank still alittle foggy? i put a 100 times better filter on there and the tank is more cloudy then my two cheapies?:screwy:

It's still probably the ammonia. With changing the filters the way you did it wouldn't matter if you had added 7 FX5's.

While some of the fish may look like they're ok, it's affecting them too.. Just not as bad. And most of the time cichlids, especially non-baby pbass can handle a little ammonia.. It's just not good.

ahh ok thank you sir your wisdom is not unapreciated haha, but no thank you very much i do thank you for the help withthe suggestion with the prime and such i would have been real upset if i lost all my fish
