I take the tilapia and put it in a food processor and just use it to shred it then I stick it in a ziplock bag in the fridge and just grab a chunk at feeding time. My bichirs love it and it's easy for them to tear a chunk off. In fact my 7" fire eel is even able to tear a chunk off. The last time I did it I threw a couple earthworms(yes the food processor is only for the fish) in there too but the don't seem to recognize the smell so they don't come running but I have seen them eat it after smelling it for 30 seconds
