Another pic of the blue finned fish side by side with my bleheris:

Both fishes are newly acquired, this explains the faded colour.

My bleheris are in temporary housing, presently. I have 3 of them. With the new entrants, I will be putting them up for sale to new homes.

The second snakehead (with the intense blue fins) is now in isolation by himself and will be given the best of attention over the next week (lucky thing I'm staying home for Christmas!)

The third snakehead (the one with the 35 dorsal rays) is already roaming about his new tank. His tankmates will be the bufonis (bumble bee cat) and a pleco.

Ah, the first snakehead, Channa Asiatica. I have not decided whether to keep him. Likely I will, it's not often seeing one in Singapore.

I actualyy bought my asiatica in singapore cost me around sing$ 5 0r 7.00

The 2 - 3 inch ones go for S$3.50. However, not been able to get them ever since then. Price for snakeheads is always relative, it can also be negative because you have to feed them a lot to keep them alive. A rare one can be as much as SGD2000, but once they are common, they can be pretty low, e.g. Micropeltes costs SGD0.50 each and are used frequently as feeders for arowanas. It's easier to get an Aurantimaculata here in Singapore than an Asiatica, as for the exotics, every now and then there are imports of very small quantities.
