Channa Maruliodes (Maruloides)

I went to the local fish store last week and noticed they had a couple of these guys available for a prety decent price. I cant really find much information on these guys as far as keeping them goes. does anybody have experience with these fish?

how big an aquarium do they need? can they be kept with other fish? does anyone have pictures of adults? in aquariums...

They get huge..biggest snakehead I think. You will need a huge tank.

your confusing it with the Channa Marulius the cobra snakehead
they get huge... channa marulioides actually translates to "looks like marulius"
It apparently looks very similar... I have found a few pictures so far but the info on them is sorta untrustworthy... some sites say they reach onl 12 inches, some say just over 2 feet and some say 3 feet

I dunno what to believe anymore. anyway After doing some research i realized i think my LFS got it wrong, i think the ones they have are cobras because they have these black bands over their head... which i saw on a cobra juvenile aswell.
 
You're right. I was confising them. Anyway don't know if yhe Marulioides isn't also a very big one..you have to check thoroughly.

marulioides can grow up to 2'.. while max size for marulius is 6'.. but i think snakehead that i keep were marulioides because it native fish here in malaysia and i bought it at low price.. but i still confused with both snakehead.. :cry: look just the same..
