charcoal or propane grill?

yeah I've had propane steaks before and I know this was brought up before, but it just goes too fast. the food was half decent, but I got no enjoyment out of it what-so-ever. I don't taste coals. I only taste the smoke from the charcoal, which has a great smell, and the marinade, which I always use with steaks. I'm gonna try fish on the grill sometime. I've heard that's really good. just put some aluminum foil down over where you cook the food. btw, I'll get the fish from the GROCERY STORE, just so no one gets scared. lol
 
I'll admit, charcoal might not make it as juicy, but it'd add more flavor.

Sure it can!! You just have to do it right. Heat is heat. The flavor is in the fuel:)

ill get the same juicy steak off of propane as i will with charcoal or wood... but its the deep smokey flavor that lacks... i tried using the wood chips in my propane grill and it wasnt the same...

today i seen lava rocks in the grilling section
anyone heard of this?

more for holding heat than flavor imo.... i use them in my lil grill down the beach...
