Sensory pits are tiny pinprick-sized holes arranged in circular patterns. They do not cause nostrils to erode, and they aren't this large.

Sensory pits are often a lot larger than pin prick size.After looking at the 3rd pic,you could be right.Or it could be because he is so lightly colored.Keep a close eye on him.

I got some metronidazole today to treat him. I also noticed some erosion on his lateral line.
