Chatuchak Bangkok - More fish than you can imagine

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
My list so far:

- birchirs
- p bass
- Datnoids, all sizes
- wolf fish
- large clown loaches
- cichlids
- tiger fish (one store has a huge one, unfortunately its the store I can't take pictures of)
- armatus (harder to find large ones)
- Ranchu goldfish
- Tarpon
- Dorado (definitely on my buy list too!)
- Julllien Carp

Is there anything else I should add?

I am wondering, majority Thai people live in small quarters, where can they find room for big tanks to keep these monster fish.

I've probably seen these before. Its just like the goonch catfish I found, as soon as I started looking I found it. I'm not really looking at fish like that because I'm not interested in them but I can from now on.

What is their common name?

Ive seen them in some of your pics

I wonder where u get this idea.

+1

The portion of Thai people which enjoy fish and can keep big tanks must be able to support the market as a whole. Also, the majority of the places at the market export to other areas, and only a few stores actually make tanks.

hey,
is it difficult to get permanent residency in Thailand? or are you just staying there for 3 months on and off? thanks

I can't imagine it's to difficult. However, I stay here on a student visa so I really don't know.
