and yes i know how to raise fish just messing around for now besides all the natives are free from my ranch so it dont matter about them

They don't matter because they're natives?

Why even look for a 55g? You're gonna need a much bigger tank.

the natives are free so if they die its no money lost id rather them stay alive though and getting rid of them isnt very hard

Please do not release any fish that have been housed with non native back into the wild. That is a great way to wipe out an entire ecosystem with a random parasite that no local critters have a defense against.

Your placing monetary value on life is genuinely quite unsettling.

Please explain again why you need the 55 gallon tank. You know your fish need several hundred gallons of water, you have access to tanks that hold several hundred gallons of water yet you choose not to use them, instead you want increase the size of the tank to be 10% of the needed size rather than the 8% it currently is?

You have a very casual disregard for life and living things.

id put all the natives in a 500gallon trough the pacus in another 500g feeder fish/minnows in another 500g i want a 55 gallon aquarium or bigger for the oscar and jack dempsey and add some more chiclids or somthin problem solved right?

i want somthing to look at in my tank for now but when i get a new tank they will be in the troughs they should be fine for now i have about 500gph in a 30 gallon tank plenty i would think

i go hunting like a lot so that might be why i dont take animal life as important as others but evryone goes fishing and those natives are probably the most popular game sport fish so i imagen a lot get eaten

That has nothing to do with it. I hunt, I fish, and I've eaten plenty of meat from both. That does not mean I view lives Ive taken responsibility for as expendable.

but there's a difference between catching them to eat and pretty much torturing them by keeping them in such a small tank (although both is bad imo). Can they even swim around? As someone else said, you have 80 some inches of fish in a 3 ft long tank.. I can't understand how they all fit in there.
