I use the first one...it's good except for one minor flaw...the suction cup randomly looses suction and the device goes flying, but does not hit the floor as the cord sits in the water...very annoying.

I use blutack between the device and the aquarium wall to counter this problem.

They are in accurate. I had two that had a difference of 4 degrees between the two. Somewhere there is a pic floating around of 5-7 of these that vary 6-8 degree from one another.
 
I have the Coralife one and I like that one. I haven't lost any suction from the cup attached to the digital reader, but the one attached to the probe is done. I'm not a fan of the probe, so that's my only complaint. I also have a few submersible digital thermometer. It's nice that there's no probe, but they aren't as accurate and those don't last nearly as long as this one.

I have an aqua top heater with digital temp display on heater, pretty nifty if you ask me. Two three hundred watt heaters and both are dead on temp wise.
