not really tropical,very dry and cold in the winter (like veeerrrry cold) and very warm and dry most of the summer.ive got to check the dry wall i guess
 
you could it should do the trick or a less expensive way just put a tarp over it water will drip back ion too if you set it up right T.V good for sothing(found about the driping water thing on surverman :)) not the one with bear grills)
 
hehe,i find out the weirdest stuff from tv,well anyways,will like a tarp/tent looking thing work?like a canopy
 
yea basicaly the evaprated water can't pass through the tarp. then it turns back into water and falls back in the pond :)
