Cheap lights?

Home depot has some cheap florescent lights. They light up the tanks just fine. What you could do is go to your LFS and buy some bulbs rated for planted tanks, never done it, but it would be worth a shot. But as far as LEDs go, they are pretty much a bank breaker anywhere ive seen em.
 
Would they work just as good as $200+ lights?

I know an LFS that runs LED flood lights like that, just make sure you're running Co2 as well since that will definitely be considered high light territory...
