would a 1 inch thick 4 ft by 8 ft acrylic sheet for 307 dollars be a reasonable price?

where did you get the 307 from? As going with glass cages prices it would be $416 for only 1/2

uh lol nope its from a local. Actually, it was the only store selling acrylic

Actually, Im not sure if I am getting a 600 because I want to build a tank the size of the garage I am moving into. So, Im not sure exactly how big it is but Im pretty sure it is bigger than 8 feet

How do i know how thick the glass has to be?

How thick it needs to be depends on how tall you go. Garf.org has a good calculator for that. Btw, when you order your acrylic make sure it's cell-cast acrylic. You don't want any other kind.

umm.. if i want to keep datnoids, stingrays, and probably bass.. how tall should it be?

30 would be fine. good luck with this keep us updated.

uhh 55 and 30

what do you mean bracing?

How can I make the stand? Can I just prop the tank up on stacks of bricks?
