yeah, wish i could come across something like that. Fish keeper doesn't seem to be too big around here so if you actually do find someone selling a tank it is just about as much as buying if from a store.
I got my 125g with stand, filters, rock, sand, extra accesories like food, medications, nets, cyphon, etc. Everthing except for lights, for 500$.
I bought the remains of a small petshop once. I got a 2*55G tanks, a 35G, 40G breeder, 45G, 2*15G, 4-5 10G tanks. Had a metal 55G stand that held 2 tanks, a 10G stand that held 2 tanks. 3*5G buckets of gravel...several boxes of HOB filters, UGFs, internal filters, air pumps, various parts and nets and just a bunch of random fish related things. It was literally everything that could fit into the bed of a F-150 pickup truck without falling off. I got all of it for $100. Ive used the tanks when I used to breed fish...since Ive sold off alot of them individually and made my money back several times.
75, nice wood inertanmet senter(still werkes), two nice filters, gravel and decor, and lodes of extras $150. And lodes of emt and a 4ft. light(it water prof to)$10. Friend werkes at a electical store.
I got a 65g tank, light, heater and wet/dry filter on ebay for $80 Then sold the wet/dry for $75. a few months later I purchased the same size tank with an oak stand for $100 of CL, I then sold that tank for $110 on Ebay Had to buy a filter though 38 bucks for a penguin 350b.
So for the 65 gallon set up I had about $33 wrappped up in it.
I sold this set up last week for $200, so I no longer have it.
Also have gotten a 55g, 29g, 10g all for free.

A 60 gallon complete set up for free but I sold it because I didn't like the dimensions and I just didn't want it as I would rather have a 75 footprint. Anyways I got a 125 for $250 complete. Came with a 300watt visitherm Heater, Eheim 2217, Emp 400, glass tops, 36" twin bulb light strips and 125 pounds of crushed coral.
of course when you buy it new there is nothing cheap in this hobby but on some used stuff there definitely is as you can see with some of the responses.rhinod56;1112325; said:
