i had my 8 inch albino pleco get stuck inside a piece of artificial grapvine. i assumed he was dead so i put the piece outside and was going to deal with it after the water change. i then went to dump a bucket of water and saw him thrashing around so i threw him back into the tank then demoed the drift wood to free him. he is still alive and well almost a year later

Poor guy, they can really squeeze into things. I've had that happen but luckily mine was still alive.

my raphy cat only gets vocal if you grab him. Otherwise he's completely quiet even if stuck in an ornament outside the tank

I had this happen with some fake drift wood, thankfully it only killed a rosy red minnow. But I learned my lesson from it.

had this happen, fortunately I was still cleaning when my fish fell out of the stump decoration and start flopping around on the floor, he survived. lol
