Those tree trunk decorations they sell are notorious for Clown Loach hiding and dying in. They are very cool, have one myself. I sometimes wonder if instead of those types of decorations, just using a natural rock cave setup where you can always see your fish might be a better idea.

sry for your loss i had this problem but as my mom came down she saw in the ordiment and said quick put it back in the water. DAM i was lucky
