Check out my 120Gal Stand

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
LOL! and to think that houses are only made of 2x4's. you could park a hummer 2 on that thing. My buddy is a carpenter and he milled down 2x4's to 1x3's and put his 90 gal on it. with 2x6's you could probably put 5 or 6 125 gal tanks on it.
(Chevy truck commercial plays) Like a rock. Ooooh Like a rock.

hahahahahahahaha If its one thing I know how to do its how to over build something.

I wish I were more like you. build it once and not worry about it ever again! do you have a power stripe built into the back of the stand? it will make it easier to plug the wires and disconnect them if you need to. you can place it high enough so that you get the hanging loop for the elec. wires too.

I put two power strips on the inside an plugged them into a GFI attached to a 10Ft indoor/outdoor extension cord.

it looks very well made and looks like birch ply which cuts easier and leaves less splinters.
i built a stand myself for another tank i had i enjoyed it.

Birch ply does look Similar to Oak ply just a wider grain on it. Building stuff is fun, Of course that if you enjoy working with your hands.
