Eh I incurred some losses last month from skipping the quarantine.

waiting for pics before I bother returning to get some tankmates for my sens

no more than any other fish.. but due to their bulging eyes itching/flashing and very small scales.. it is something you really dont want..

In my experience w/ petsmart, you can usually COUNT on their water being ich infested. I lost many new fish to them. Now I have a tank setup strictly for new fish from LFS's.

They use UV to prevent cross-contamination. However, none of the stores I've visited could tell me that they either knew about the UV or when the last time was that the bulb was replaced.
