may look outa place but atleast you can have alot bigger tanks when you connect more than one together

best way to fill IMO is to stick a tube to the top and start sucking it fills pretty easy and quick but for the one that is up on the ceiling i dont know if our lungs could create enough suction to pull the water up that high

Just connect the check valve to an airline that's also connected at the other end to the Venturi tube of the powerhead that circulates your water (from tank 1 to tank 2), and that will provide constant suction.
