as long as theres no air able to get into the highway the water will stay up there its pretty symple actually

cleaning mine is easy just take it out let water drain and then scrub by hand fill it back up and your done

Other than letting the water out, I've never cleaned mine. They stay clean with all the water-flow and gravity.

It's not an Aqua Tunnel. Aqua Tunnel's are at large public aquariums. They are the huge clear tunnels that people can walk through.

The ones I built are filled with water so that fish can swim through them. They are usually called Tank Bridges, Water Bridges, or Fish Highways.

It's funny I found this post today, i'm actually building one of these this weekend, i've got all the clear PVC and fittings from a local plastics shop, it's going to be for my reef tank, we'll see what happens!
