I was about to say firemouth x convict x jd x (possible texas)
But now the mom looks like someone was trying to get a red texas but f* up somewhere and now its some sort of flowerhorn. The fish that you got definately looks like it has texas or firmouth somewhere in there and that it was bred to that mother fish.
But really nice fish anyway.

camp! why you gotta be so neg every time i see you post something it's all neg "low grade-low grade that so what if it's low grade were are not in comp on this site were all here looking to expand or knowledge on fish. i hope you grow up a little and relieze you dont have the best looking fish either but nobody is as RUDEas you bt i can be..!!!!

There's nice hybrids and then theres accident fish that should have never made it out of a tank..
oh no reason i type with the bold! but still the fish look's really good and im happy for the guy! but dont get it twisted im not trying to be a as*****e to you i just hate people who bash other people's fish. my fish is not high grade but in my book he's a a++ and so are your fish and so are evrybody esle's fish so that's where i stand on this oh and by the way was this font,color italic's to your approval LOL....
camp has a problem with "panfish" looking hybrids that everyone seems to breed by accident.
all were very good guesses on everyone's part. great job!
to the OP keep a hold of this "possible female" and let us know how "she" progresses.
i agree the face is very pointy for my tastes, but i like seeing all those texas hybrids out there.
