checking out the interest in bowfin

i love pressure...the way it looks i have to get a few hundred just to feed the masses;)...sucks that you lost it...did it die with its mouth open and spit up some tapeworm chunks?...i ask cause that is common in bowfins...in tanks alot die from them in the wild they somehow pass them or live with them...i will treat all mine for this and other things...you still gonna what the 3-4" or you gonna upgrade to the 16"+?
 
I'd like 2 or 3 for my pond. Maybe around 3-6".:) I have never been able to find them for sale anywhere.

Like I said no clue what went wrong, besides being hard to care for when small... at least 3-4" is bigger than an inch. ;)

thats why i am doing this...never availible to buy...most can't catch them...i'll post when i get them with the price witch shouldn't be more then $5-8 for the fry...bigger on a case by case basis...also if i can for sure ship as i have to figure out the funds details aside from mailing a money order...

ya and at least you could get them after they have been treated...eatting well, know what they were eatting...also if you were up for a road trip pick the fishes you want...all for less then you lost that one for;)

i am in st. paul, MN...if you were to come all the way...thats to see the mass stock...other then through pics of corse...

Yea, that's an issue, lol. Def. would be a road trip... 5 hours there, another 5 back... not sure if that would work.;)

hop on the bike head on over;)...make a day of it:ROFL:...to bad this wasn't like a month ago when i drove to chicago and back in a day...coulda had delivery service...lol...when i when to souix falls, SD and back that was 9hrs...i drove there friend hopped in drove home...made a day of it..lol...

You might have to ship it/them. ;)
 
I think I'd be interested in 2-3 6-8" if you were to get any that size. Otherwise smaller would be better than larger, I think.
