The stand is sagging on this tank and I have it shimmed up with playing cards until I replace the whole setup.

I have nine assorted tanks and I do big water changes every 3 to 4 days on each.

This is the mixed cichlid tank, which currently houses 15 fish. They all hid when I asked who was going to pay for the drinks . . .

Cheers!

CHEERS! Pre water change today, I was taking the pic and was focused on the bass and almost completely cut out the beer but it’s there lol. One of the spider kels has a birth defect so he is nick named Alfalfa.

The water is all cloudy because I just got rid of the offensive epoxy coated Walmart gravel, and put aragonite sand in the cichlid tank.

I have an mbuna holding eggs and I have sequestered her on the right side of the tank.

Cheers!

My knee is killing me so I decided to put it up and have a double while I changed water.

Apparently my d@mn aquarium is too small :(

All of my aquariums are too damn small. That's why I'm constantly changing water.
Fortunately I have a large liquor Supply.

I have no breeding Cichla but only breeding bettas and mbuna. if the breeding works out I may keep these fish but otherwise I will probably donate the tanks to my kids and fill something larger.

This is the fourth water change today & my leg is really sore, so at this point I'm just drinking right out of the bottle.

But it's all done now so I will go cook myself some wild-caught Atlantic salmon and a nice big potato.

CHEERS

OMG... if you look closely at the left side of the picture you will see a navy blue male betta and I'm bright pink female betta doing the mating dance. Their bubble nest is under a piece of yellow styrofoam packing tray.

Forgive me for posting bettas in the bass thread but I was just so amazed that I caught these guys in the act!

I think it was the water change that set them off.
