Indeed one of the easiest fish to sex. The color red appears as dots in the middle of the individual scales on the male. Females have red as well, only then as a lining around the individual scales.

I currently have a group of 4 grammodes (1 male, 3 females) hope they will spawn.

Update on my Grammodes. Quick photo when I moved him to a new tank and an in tank pic prior to that. He's approaching 5 inch or so.
